    Originally Huggy Bear of Wright we are the 4th owners. John Mecklenburg was 2nd and sold to Paul Birchall in Cork. We sailed with Paul and bought HB from him in 2000. We mainly race round the cans in Dublin Bay and usually achieve some crystal / silverwear each year. This year we were second (by 7 sec) in the C3 East Coast Champs. Old sails, Mk 1 rudder, hastily assembled crew – not a bad result!!
