Spring is (apparently) sprung – and the season is beginning. This weekend sees the first inshore JOG race of the season, around the Nab Tower, with three Impalas entered – Two Frank, Magic and Vlad the Impala. And tonight is the first Wednesday night race for many in Hamble and Plymouth – just don’t forget the oilskins!

Plymouth Update: 30 knots – water below, above, and from every other angle. Three IRC yachts turned out (all class B !). Zulu first by about 2 mins from a Sunfast 32 and a J80

Well, 2 Impala’s now as Vlad has just scratched – Weather not enough like spring for me!
