Four boats came along to the Hamble Autumn Championships over the weekend, for some blustery sailing with winds up to 26 knots. At the end of the weekend, Polly took home the trophy, a slight navigational error and a broken boom on Sunday aside. Trudi was second, with Imptish, in her first outing under her new owners  third, and Happy, with a crew of prospective purchasers aboard, fourth. They sailed a great race on Sunday in testing conditions to win Sunday’s race. The fleet is really beginning to boom in the solent, with new owners and boats all looking forward to next season.
